About

Stacy Y. Thomas, is the youngest and only girl of 3 children and the proud mother of two beautiful young ladies. Born and raised in Castle Hill Projects in The Bronx, NY, Stacy gave her life to Christ at the tender age of 11. She worked hard to get out of the “P.J.’s” and in July of 1993 left The Bronx to attend Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. After obtaining her degree in Fashion Design from S.U., she fulfilled her life-long dream of becoming a licensed Cosmetologist. After years in corporate America, she decided to start her own beauty brand, I Design Beauty, LLC.

Stacy experienced many hardships along the way, including a near death experience on her way home from a business trip in Hong Kong in 2012, where she suffered a bowel obstruction mid-flight, and had to have emergency surgery to save her life. This life-altering experience was confirmation the devil was determined to stop the plan of God, and she was determined to make him into the liar he is.

Out of the ashes of sickness, calamity and life lessons from the school of hard knocks, another passion within Stacy began to burn, which was writing. As her marriage began to unravel, she started to release her feelings by journaling. In her first book “Where Do I Go from Here? Redefining Yourself After Heartbreak and Brokenness” (released August 2, 2016), Stacy pens the tools and tactics she used to go from brokenness to being made whole and living an abundant life.

After 11 years, Stacy answered the call of God on Sunday, August 18, 2019, becoming a licensed minister at Morning Star Full Gospel Assembly, where the current Senior Pastor is Rubin S. Thompson. She is a part of the Ecclesiastical staff, serves on the Women’s Fellowship Committee Board, and is the Director of The Children of Holiness, which is a praise dance ministry for the youth ages 7-17, as well as the Liturgical Dance Ministry, which is a praise dance ministry for adults ages 18 & up.

With her professional career, entrepreneurial spirit, ministry duties; as a single mother of two beautiful young ladies, Stacy believes Romans 8:28 says it best, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
