Spring Into Your Healing!

This past weekend I had the privilege to attend the 2nd annual Finer Women’s Conference in Tarrytown, NY. This conference was indeed spirit-filled and full of knowledge, wisdom and an authentic flow of the Holy Spirit. I always have an amazing time in God at this conference, but what happened this year was very special.

A woman approached my table and told me she purchased my book “Where Do I Go from Here? Redefining Yourself after Heartbreak and Brokenness” last year when she attended the conference. She proceeded to tell me how last year she was broken, angry, embarrassed, etc., as she was going through a divorce. The most hurtful part was she’s in the church, so her expectation was to never get divorced.

She purchased my book and read it for an entire year. She kept it by her nightstand where it remains to this day. This book helped her to get through the toughest time in her life. She expressed to me how impactful this book had been in her healing process. She recently saw a photo of her and her now ex-husband and someone asked her how did she feel about seeing the photo. She said she didn’t feel anything, because she didn’t recognize either person in the photo.

Wow!

Imagine being so healed, that when you see the person who hurt you, the one who you have so much history with, the one who could have the power to activate all sorts of triggers, you feel- NOTHING?!

That’s the power of healing. That’s the power of freedom.

That is just one testimony I heard of women overcoming heartbreak. There’s been quite a few since I published this book in 2016, but I don’t always get to hear the testimonies of women who cross over from heartbreak to healing. My prayer is that every person who reads my book will have the courage to seek healing, so they can live the abundant life they deserve and desire.

And that’s my desire for you too.

Whether you are single or single again, there is healing for you. Even if you are dating or married, there may be unresolved hurt from past relationships that’s affecting your current relationship or marriage.

If you are saved, love God and are in the church, YOU DESERVE HEALING, LOVE AND A NEW LEASE ON LIFE AS WELL.

Read that again if you must. Read it as many times as you need to.

I encourage you to start your healing journey TODAY. There is life after the heartbreak and yes, even after the divorce. Life doesn’t begin with another relationship either. It begins when you recover from the pain, rediscover who you are and redefine your life on your terms unapologetically.
